Head of Staff
Somebody to run the staff team and the day-to-day of the ENDEX Discord. Unpaid, like every role here. Real responsibility, and a say in how this place works.
WHAT YOU'D OWN
- The staff team. Moderators and support staff report to you. Rotas, who covers what, and stepping in when something's been sitting.
- Tickets. Making sure support, membership and store tickets get answered — not answering all of them yourself.
- Events. Game nights, the Smoke Pit, Weekly Net Check, tournaments. Making sure somebody's actually running them.
- New members. That applications get reviewed, buddies get paired, and nobody joins and stands around ignored.
- Escalation. Reports and appeals that need a decision above a moderator.
- The weekly read-out. What happened, what's broken, what you need — straight to Bailey.
WHAT WE'RE AFTER
- Around most days. Not all day — most days. Consistency beats intensity.
- Calm in an argument. The job is mostly people, and some of it is people at their worst.
- Follow-through. If you say you'll sort it, it gets sorted.
- Comfortable delegating. If you do everything yourself you'll burn out by Christmas.
- Straight with us. Including when we're the problem.
You don't have to have served. Plenty of people who run things well have never worn a uniform.
